Schaeffler India Posts Strong Growth In First Quarter

Schaeffler India Limited said its board approved results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026. The company reported revenue from operations of Rs 25,070 million (Rs 25,070 mn) for the quarter, and provided details on profit and margins. The announcement followed a routine board review and regulatory disclosure.

Revenue for the quarter was 18.8 per cent higher than the corresponding quarter of 2025 and 5.1 per cent lower than the preceding quarter. Profit before tax before exceptional items stood at Rs 4,257 million (Rs 4,257 mn), up 19.7 per cent year on year, and the PBT margin was 17.0 per cent compared with 16.9 per cent in the corresponding quarter of 2025 and 16.9 per cent in the preceding quarter. Net profit was Rs 3,197 million (Rs 3,197 mn) and the net profit margin was 12.8 per cent.

The managing director and chief executive officer said he was pleased with continued strong growth momentum across business segments and noted that Automotive Technologies, Vehicle Lifetime Solutions and exports delivered robust double-digit growth driven by successful business wins. He indicated that localisation benefits and improved capital efficiency supported the quality of earnings despite ongoing supply chain challenges and inflationary headwinds. The company said it remained committed to achieving financial and operational targets and to delivering value to stakeholders.
