Schneider Electric has announced a strategic partnership with NVIDIA to fast-track the development of AI-ready infrastructure across Europe. The collaboration, revealed at NVIDIA’s GTC event in Paris, aligns with the European Commission’s 'AI Continent Action Plan' and the 'InvestAI' initiative, which aims to mobilise €200 billion (approximately Rs 18 trillion) in AI investments.

The alliance will combine Schneider Electric’s capabilities in sustainable infrastructure with NVIDIA’s leadership in accelerated computing. Together, the firms are co-developing advanced power management, scalable rack systems, and liquid cooling technologies to support next-generation AI data centres.

Schneider Electric CEO Olivier Blum said the companies are “co-developing infrastructure to power the next wave of AI factories globally,” with custom-designed cooling and energy systems tailored to AI workloads. NVIDIA’s CEO Jensen Huang called AI “the most transformative force reshaping our world,” and underscored the importance of “AI factories” in fuelling future innovation.

Schneider also launched its NVIDIA-enabled EcoStruxure™ Pod and Rack Infrastructure, designed to accelerate deployment of AI data centres. The system features a new Open Compute Project (OCP)-inspired rack compatible with NVIDIA’s GB200 NVL72 platform.

This integration places Schneider within NVIDIA’s HGX and MGX ecosystems, following key 2025 milestones, including the launch of the world’s first digital twin for large-scale AI power systems, co-developed using NVIDIA Omniverse.

The partnership has also produced new reference designs for liquid cooling and electrical systems, many featuring technology from Motivair, which Schneider acquired earlier this year. Together, the companies aim to position Europe at the forefront of global AI infrastructure deployment.
