Scindia Reviews BSNL Q3 Performance, Pushes Growth Focus

Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, recently chaired the Q3 (2025–26) strategic review meeting of Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) in New Delhi, stressing the need to improve quality of service, expand the mobile customer base and raise average revenue per user (ARPU).

The review included a detailed circle-wise assessment of revenue performance across service verticals, with emphasis on identifying best practices and addressing gaps to ensure sustained growth. The Minister noted quarter-on-quarter improvement in mobile ARPU and urged circles with flat performance to enhance service offerings and customer retention.

Key quality of service parameters such as network availability and mean time to repair were reviewed, with circles including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh cited for strong improvements. Star-performing circles in enterprise business growth were also recognised. The Minister directed all circles to focus on execution and accountability to achieve fourth-quarter revenue targets.
