Skill University has inaugurated the iFactory Lab at Kubernagar Industrial Training Institute in Ahmedabad to train youth and professionals in Industry 4.0 technologies. Developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India, the lab focuses on hands-on learning in robotics, Internet of Things, data analytics, and cyber-physical systems.

The facility is designed to automate entire industrial workflows—from order to delivery—aligning workforce capabilities with the needs of modern manufacturing. It will benefit both students from educational institutions and current industry workers.

This initiative is part of a broader plan to establish a globally competitive industrial environment in Gujarat. By exposing learners to high-tech systems, the lab aims to reduce the skill gap and drive innovation across sectors.

In addition to providing training, the project supports national missions like Make in India and Skill India by promoting employment and grassroots-level technological adoption. The lab reflects a forward-thinking approach to building an industry-ready talent pool and accelerating economic development.
