Special trains announced from Tambaram and Ramanathapuram

Southern Railway has announced special trains between Tambaram and Ramanathapuram to manage the increased passenger demand during the upcoming festival season.

According to the official statement, train No. 06103, a tri-weekly special service, will depart from Tambaram at 5 PM on September 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, and 30 and will reach Ramanathapuram at 5:55 AM the following day.

In the return direction, train No. 06104 will leave Ramanathapuram at 10:55 AM on September 20, 22, 24, 27, 29, and October 1 and will arrive in Tambaram at 11:10 PM the same day.

These special trains will feature one AC two-tier coach, three AC three-tier coaches, six sleeper class coaches, seven general second-class coaches, and two divyangjan-friendly second-class coaches.

The trains will make stops at Chengalpet, Melmaruvathur, Villupuram, Cuddalore Port, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur, Thiruthuraipoondi, Muthupet, Adiramapattinam, Pattukottai, Peravurani, Arantangi, Karaikudi, Kallal, Sivaganga, Manamadurai, and Paramakudi.
