Steamhouse India has secured an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for a common steam plant and co-generation power plant at the Bulk Drug Park in Una, Himachal Pradesh. The mandate also covers commissioning and comprehensive operation and maintenance of the facilities.

The proposed steam plant will have a capacity of 300 TPH and an indicative co-generation power capacity of 30 IMW. The project will also include an associated steam distribution network to serve industrial users at the park.

EPC work is scheduled for completion within 24 months from the commencement of the project, subject to applicable contractual conditions. Following commissioning, Steamhouse India will provide operation and maintenance services for 25 years under the terms of the definitive agreement.

The project cost will be funded by Himachal Pradesh Bulk Drug Park Infrastructure under the applicable project arrangement. The total contract value is Rs. 3.11 bn, according to the company’s regulatory filing made after market hours on 24 September.

Steamhouse India, also known as SIL, specialises in the generation and centralised pipeline distribution of industrial gases, primarily steam and nitrogen, to industrial customers. The company reported consolidated net profit of Rs. 386.4 mn and sales of Rs. 4.92 bn for the 12 months ended 31 March 2026. Its shares fell 2.08 per cent to Rs. 111.55 on the BSE.
