Surya Roshni Ltd on Monday (24 November) announced that it has secured an order worth Rs 1.0518 billion (including GST) from a domestic engineering and infrastructure company for the supply of spiral pipes with external 3 LPE coating.

The order will be executed within Gujarat, with delivery scheduled for 31 March 2026. The company confirmed that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity, and the order does not qualify as a related-party transaction.

Surya Roshni reported strong financial performance in the latest quarter, with net profit rising 117 per cent year-on-year to Rs 743 million, up from Rs 342 million in the same period last year. Revenue from operations increased 21 per cent year-on-year to Rs 18.452 billion and was 15 per cent higher than the previous quarter. Revenue in the corresponding quarter last year stood at Rs 15.29 billion, while the June quarter revenue was Rs 16.05 billion. The company attributed growth to festive demand and sustained interest in professional lighting.

Despite pricing pressures in some categories, the lighting and consumer durables division recorded healthy revenue growth, supported by strong double-digit volume increases in LED lamps, battens, water heaters and mixer grinders.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 55 per cent year-on-year to Rs 1.18 billion, with EBITDA margin improving by 140 basis points to 6.4 per cent compared with 5 per cent a year earlier. Shares of Surya Roshni Ltd closed at Rs 258.70 on the BSE on 24 November, up Rs 1.55 or 0.60 per cent.
