SVAMITVA Maps 0.33 Million Villages and Rs 17,130 Million Loans Disbursed

The SVAMITVA scheme provides a record of rights to property owners in rural inhabited areas and uses drone surveys with Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) technology to create accurate maps of abadi areas of villages, the Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh stated in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha. The mapping effort is intended to reduce property disputes by clearly demarcating boundaries and establishing ownership records through a transparent process of ground verification and dispute resolution.
