Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has inaugurated a new AI-driven operations centre in Mexico City, its eighth facility in the country, strengthening its role as a digital innovation partner across Latin America.
The new office will employ AI specialists and software engineers with expertise in enterprise technologies such as cloud, cybersecurity, IoT, cognitive business operations, and IT infrastructure. Designed as a hub of innovation, it will collaborate with both local and global clients, advancing Mexico’s digital transformation.
Over the next two years, the expansion is expected to create significant employment opportunities, reinforcing TCS’ status as one of Mexico’s top employers. The company already has more than 11,000 associates in Mexico, serving over 400 major clients in the region including Cemex, Banamex, and Bradesco.
Rajeev Gupta, Head-Nearshore LATAM and Country Head – Mexico, described the centre as a milestone in delivering cutting-edge solutions and fostering local talent. Marcelo Wurmann, CEO – Latin America, added that Mexico remains a key pillar of TCS’ regional growth strategy.
Marcelo Ebrard, Mexico’s Economy Secretary, welcomed the move, noting that TCS’ investment and job creation will be vital for positioning Mexico as a regional hub for technological innovation.
The facility builds on TCS’ two-decade presence in Mexico, where it also runs specialised centres in Guadalajara and Querétaro. Recognised for 11 consecutive years as a Top Employer in Mexico, TCS continues to expand its influence through long-term partnerships, sustainable growth initiatives, and community-focused innovation.
In the fiscal year ending March 2025, TCS reported consolidated revenues exceeding US $30 billion, underlining its global scale and commitment to driving digital transformation worldwide.
