TEAM Scheme Aims To Boost MSMEs’ Digital Commerce Access

The TEAM Scheme uses Digital Public Infrastructure to support micro and small enterprises by enabling seamless participation in digital marketplaces. The initiative provides MSMEs with direct access to the Government-backed Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), offering ready-to-use online storefronts, integrated digital payments, and logistics support. This reduces the need for enterprises to develop their own e-commerce platforms.

Through the TEAM portal, MSMEs can digitally register, create verified business profiles and be efficiently matched with Seller Network Participants for onboarding, catalogue management and continued digital commerce assistance. The scheme also includes capacity-building workshops to help enterprises strengthen their digital capabilities and leverage online markets more effectively.

The initiative aims to benefit 500,000 micro and small enterprises, with half of these expected to be women-owned businesses, thereby promoting inclusive digital growth.

This information was provided by the Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha.
