In conjunction with the infrastructure contract award, the corporation has also announced plans to auction four land plots within Global City, designated for mixed land use. The auction is scheduled to take place in December of this year.
Yash Garg, the Managing Director of HSIIDC, provided insights into the project, stating, "Infrastructure for the first phase will be developed at a cost of ?7,940 crore, with a completion date set for October 2026. The contractor will be tasked with constructing world-class amenities, including roads, an internal mass transit system, and a utility tunnel for common facilities, all aimed at providing residents and visitors with a global-standard experience."
In addition to the infrastructure developments, HSIDC has earmarked approximately 170 acres of land for commercial and residential use within this expansive 1,000-acre mixed-land-use city. The auction for these parcels of land is expected to further contribute to the overall development of the Global City project.
