Titan Intech Launches UltraLED Displays Premium LED Brand

Titan Intech has recently announced the launch of UltraLED Displays, a new premium LED display brand aimed at advancing India’s domestic display technology capabilities. The move reflects the company’s strategic shift from assembly-led operations towards owning and developing core LED display technologies.

With UltraLED Displays, Titan Intech is investing in in-house display electronics and advanced control systems that directly influence performance, reliability and scalability. The company stated that these capabilities form the backbone of next-generation LED display solutions developed under the new brand.

The technology platform has been strengthened through international co-development with South Korean partner Media Information Communication Co. (MIC). This collaboration has enabled technology transfer and internalisation of capabilities such as display control boards, advanced 2D and 3D processors, and Mini- and Micro-LED display technologies, allowing tighter system integration and consistent performance.

UltraLED Displays is positioned for deployment across corporate environments, command and control centres, transportation hubs, retail, public infrastructure, education, sports venues and immersive display applications. The brand focuses on advanced LED packaging technologies including COB, SMD, MiP and Mini/Micro-LED architectures, alongside system-level optimisation covering thermal management, power efficiency, calibration stability and long product life.

Commenting on the launch, Kumarraju Rudraraju, Managing Director, Titan Intech Limited, said the initiative marks the company’s entry into building and owning display technology in India. He added that Telangana will anchor product development and R&D, while Andhra Pradesh will support large-scale manufacturing, creating skilled employment across engineering, manufacturing and supply chains in line with the Make in India vision.

As part of its expansion plans, Titan Intech has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board to establish an integrated display electronics manufacturing facility in the Amaravati Capital Region. The phased project involves an investment of around Rs 250 crore across 20 acres and is expected to generate about 300 direct and 500 indirect jobs.

In addition, the company has entered into a technology partnership with MIC involving a phased investment of approximately Rs 135 crore over seven years to localise LED, SMD, MiP, Mini-LED and LCD display control systems. The initiative is aimed at import substitution, technology absorption and the development of high-performance display systems, supporting India’s push towards greater self-reliance in electronics manufacturing.
