Transrail Secures Rs 5,750 mn Orders and L1 Positions

Transrail Lighting has secured new orders worth Rs 5,750 million (mn), primarily in the transmission and distribution segment, along with contracts in civil and pole businesses. The company also holds an L1 position of around Rs 4,000 million (mn) and reports a robust bidding pipeline across domestic and international markets.

The awards include work for a 500 kV HVDC line for a marquee customer, international product supplies, a specialised civil construction project and pole supplies, reflecting the group's diversified capabilities. Management indicated that the mix of projects spans turnkey engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) assignments and complements existing execution capacity. The company signalled that the contracts will be integrated into existing work schedules and that resources have been allocated to meet delivery milestones. The new wins reinforce the unexecuted orderbook and provide sustained operational visibility.

Transrail described its orderbook as substantial and highlighted a strong bidding pipeline that underpins the long-term growth outlook. The company noted ongoing focus on execution discipline and margin sustainability as central priorities while progressing project delivery. Management emphasised the role of manufacturing scale and testing capabilities in supporting timely delivery and meeting quality standards across projects. The firm operates across transmission lines, substations, civil construction, railways, solar and pole and lighting verticals.

With headquarters in India, the enterprise has a presence in 63 countries across five continents and employs more than 2,700 staff. As part of the power transmission and distribution business, it maintains large-scale manufacturing for galvanised lattice towers, overhead conductors and galvanised monopoles, plus a tower testing facility. These facilities enable the firm to supply complex tower components and monopoles to overseas clients with consistency. This industrial base supports supply to domestic projects and international markets.

Management contact details for investor relations were provided by the company and remain the point of contact for market queries. No further commentary was offered beyond the company statement on the order wins and operational positioning.
