TVS, Kadam To Deploy 500 Electric 3-Wheelers

TVS Motor Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kadam Mobility to deploy 500 units of the TVS King EV MAX electric three-wheelers across major metro and Tier 1 cities during the 2025–26 financial year. The partnership aims to strengthen sustainable urban mobility and promote inclusive growth.

Starting in Q2 of FY25–26, Kadam Mobility will integrate the vehicles into its existing electric ecosystem, which includes charging infrastructure, EV operations, and driver training programmes. The phased rollout also aims to generate livelihood opportunities for underrepresented communities, with a focus on empowering women.

The TVS King EV MAX features a range of 179 kilometres, fast charging capability, a spacious cabin, and Bluetooth-enabled TVS SmartXonnect™ technology. The vehicle is tailored to support reliable, efficient, and eco-friendly passenger mobility, aligning with Kadam Mobility’s efforts to scale clean transportation solutions.

Rajat Gupta, Business Head – Commercial Mobility at TVS Motor Company, stated that the collaboration is part of a shared commitment to scaling sustainable transport and livelihood generation. Anubhav Swara, Founder & CEO of Kadam Mobility, highlighted the agreement as a vital move to expand clean mobility infrastructure across India.

The first batch of vehicles is expected to be rolled out in June 2025.
