Unrakshakk Industries Commissions FMCG Plant in Guwahati

Unrakshakk Industries India Ltd has recently announced the successful commencement of operations at its new FMCG manufacturing facility in Guwahati, Assam, marking a key milestone in the company’s expansion across FMCG and FMCG Intermediate segments. The plant has become operational with installed capacities of 2,160 metric tonnes per month for soap noodles and 1,000 metric tonnes per month for cosmetics.
The commissioning of the Guwahati facility further strengthens the company’s FMCG manufacturing footprint, complementing its existing units at Bhilwara and Roorkee. Together, these locations highlight the company’s growing pan-India presence and its strategy to build a well-distributed and integrated manufacturing platform to support long-term growth.
With FMCG operations now anchored across Guwahati, Bhilwara and Roorkee, Unrakshakk Industries has established a multi-location manufacturing network that enables improved production planning, cost efficiencies and cross-facility synergies. This integrated setup is expected to support scalable growth, stronger operating leverage and enhanced revenue visibility as capacities continue to ramp up.
The expansion across its FMCG manufacturing units marks steady progress in the company’s medium-term growth roadmap. Backed by capacity expansion, product diversification and wider geographic reach, the company is working towards its stated aspiration of achieving around Rs 1,000 crore in revenues by FY28.
Saurabh Chhabra, Promoter & Director, said the operationalisation of the Guwahati facility significantly strengthens the company’s FMCG manufacturing ecosystem and enhances its ability to scale FMCG and FMCG Intermediate businesses while supporting sustainable growth over the medium term.
