Global pharmaceutical company Alkomex GBN is planning to expand its research and development presence in India by partnering with nutraceuticals expert Sanjay Agrawal to lead its strategic initiatives in the country.

Alkomex GBN has announced its collaboration with Dr. Sanjay Agrawal, a prominent Indian expert in health management and nutraceuticals, appointing him as the Scientific Advisor for the company.

Alex Meneses Vega, the CEO of Alkomex, mentioned that Agrawal’s leadership would be crucial in driving the company’s growth as it expands its presence in the nutraceutical and functional food sectors.

Agrawal will be based in Ahmedabad and will lead the company’s research and strategic efforts in India. He is expected to guide Alkomex’s R&D initiatives and integrate Indian research into the company's global operations.

The partnership is anticipated to strengthen Alkomex GBN’s ability to develop scientifically-backed nutraceuticals and functional food products aimed at improving global health and wellness, the company stated.

Nutraceuticals are foods, ingredients, or dietary supplements that may offer health or medical benefits.
