VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, sold 7,167 units in August 2025, marking a 9.5 per cent growth compared to 6,543 units in August 2024. The tally includes 6,924 units under the Eicher brand and 243 units under the Volvo brand.

Eicher brand performance

• Eicher-branded trucks and buses posted sales of 6,924 units in August 2025, up 10.2 per cent from 6,283 units a year earlier.
• Domestic sales stood at 6,331 units, registering a 5.0 per cent growth over 6,028 units in August 2024.
• Exports surged to 593 units, more than doubling from 255 units in the same month last year — a 132.5 per cent increase.

Volvo brand performance

Volvo Trucks and Buses recorded sales of 243 units in August 2025, compared to 260 units in August 2024, reflecting a 6.5 per cent decline.
