Venus Safety & Health welcomed a group of 30 students from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Mumbai, for an immersive industry visit to its advanced manufacturing facility. The engagement offered students a firsthand understanding of the company’s four-decade evolution from a small proprietary concern to a leading innovator in personal protective equipment.
The cohort explored Venus Safety’s comprehensive portfolio of respiratory protection products and gained insights into the research, design and engineering processes behind globally certified PPE. Chairman and Managing Director Mahesh Kudav said that such interactions help bridge the gap between design thinking and product innovation, while enabling students to see the rigour and scientific discipline required in creating trusted safety solutions.
During the visit, students toured in-house testing laboratories, R&D units and large-scale production lines. They observed how advanced materials, stringent quality systems and patented technologies come together to produce high-performance PPE that meets global standards. The discussions also underscored the importance of compliance, product reliability and manufacturing excellence in the safety sector.
A pioneer in the industry, Kudav has driven Venus Safety’s growth through strong R&D foundations, patented developments and contributions to national and international standards, positioning the brand as a leader in respiratory protection.
The visit offered valuable exposure to PPE technology, industrial design, and end-to-end manufacturing workflows, strengthening academic–industry linkages in the field of safety and technical textiles.
