Wipro Completes Mindsprint Acquisition From Olam Group

Wipro Limited has completed its acquisition of Mindsprint, the IT and digital services business of Olam Group, after receiving regulatory approvals. The transaction, announced on April six, 2026, forms part of an eight-year strategic transformation engagement with Olam Group, a US$ 50+ bn food and agri-business headquartered in Singapore and majority owned by Temasek Holdings. Wipro said the acquisition will fold Mindsprint into its consulting-led, AI-powered Wipro Intelligence suite and broaden its sector offerings.

The engagement expands Wipro’s farm-to-fork capabilities and aims to scale Wipro Intelligence across the food and agri-business sector. Mindsprint brings deep domain expertise and IP-led solutions in supply chain and commodity trading that Wipro intends to combine with its consulting, engineering and AI capabilities to drive market-ready transformation. The company indicated the combined focus will include farming, forecasting, trading and supply chain operations and is intended to deliver sustainable growth, operational leverage and long-term business value.

Mindsprint employs over 3,200 professionals and has supported Olam Group’s digital transformation. Its proprietary platforms include Farmsprint for plantation management, Procuresprint for procurement transformation, SprintAP for payables, Salessprint for sales operations and Tradesprint for commodity trading and risk management. Headquartered in Singapore, Mindsprint serves clients across the US, UK, Middle East, India and Australia and will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary, Mindsprint, a Wipro Company, integrated into Wipro’s global delivery network.

Rothschild & Co acted as exclusive financial adviser to Wipro while Avendus Capital advised Olam Group and Mindsprint on the transaction. With more than 240,000 employees and business partners across 65 countries, Wipro will leverage its consulting-led approach, the Wipro Innovation Network and the Wipro Intelligence suite to accelerate client-centric co-innovation. The companies indicated the acquisition completes a key element of their strategic partnership and strengthens Wipro’s position in supply chain and commodity trading services for the food and agri-business industry.
