Wipro Moves Mideast HQ to Riyadh to Boost Digital Focus

Wipro Limited, a leading AI-driven technology services and consulting firm, has announced the relocation of its Middle East regional headquarters from Al Khobar to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The new regional office was formally inaugurated in a ceremony attended by Wipro executives, employees, and clients, reinforcing the company’s strategic focus on supporting Saudi Arabia’s growing digital economy.

With existing offices in Riyadh, Al Khobar, Jeddah, and Jubail, this move further expands Wipro’s regional presence. Mohammed AlRobayan, Deputy Minister for Technology at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), welcomed the announcement, highlighting how Wipro’s investment supports national goals under Saudi Vision 2030. He noted the relocation as a sign of confidence in the Kingdom’s digital business environment and praised the company’s commitment to nurturing local talent.

Alongside the new office, Wipro has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) to launch a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Riyadh. This partnership will provide Saudi students with academic and hands-on training in advanced technologies using Wipro’s resources. The initiative aims to develop a pipeline of skilled Saudi professionals ready to contribute to the Kingdom’s tech-driven transformation.

Wipro also announced the appointment of Mohamed Mousa as its new Managing Director for the Middle East, who will operate from the Riyadh headquarters. His leadership is expected to accelerate Wipro’s momentum in delivering innovative digital solutions across the region.
