Wipro Secures Multi Year Transformation Deal With Olam Group
Wipro will deliver end-to-end transformation services through a consulting led and AI powered approach drawing on its Wipro Intelligence unified suite of platforms and partnerships with technology providers. The company said these capabilities will strengthen Olam Group's core operations and support the creation of a sustainable competitive advantage. The work will aim to catalyse innovation and drive market ready transformation across the group's operations.
Deployment will span Olam Group's farm-to-fork value chain, covering farming, forecasting, trading, supply chain operations and customer engagement with the aim of improving operational effectiveness and resilience and supporting long-term growth at scale. Under the terms of the acquisition, Mindsprint will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Wipro subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions, with completion expected in the quarter ending Q1 FY27 at the end of June 2026. Primarily based in India, Mindsprint employs over 3,200 professionals and brings domain expertise in plantation management, procurement, payables and commodity trading platforms. The combination is intended to bring together Mindsprint's industry specific IP with Wipro's global consulting led capabilities.

Wipro has more than 230,000 employees and business partners across 65 countries and will leverage its innovation network to co-create solutions for the sector. Executives indicated the partnership is expected to unlock growth opportunities for Olam and for Wipro's clients across the industry.
