The government of Uttar Pradesh, under the visionary guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has launched an ambitious drive to ensure that Mahakumbh 2025 becomes a divine, grand, and meticulously organized event. In adherence to the Chief Minister's directives, the state government has set the wheels in motion to fast-track the completion of tasks associated with Mahakumbh 2025, as stated in an official announcement.

Notably, projects with a combined value exceeding Rs 2,000 crore encompassing road infrastructure, bridges, electricity infrastructure, and the expansion and management of the fairground are being expedited with utmost urgency. Furthermore, a comprehensive review process has been initiated for 260 projects from various departments, collectively valued at Rs 3,738 crore.

Mahakumbh 2025 is scheduled to span 45 days, commencing on January 13 and concluding on February 26. During this spiritual congregation, it is anticipated that over 6 crore pilgrims will converge to participate. A remarkable 40 lakh devotees are expected to partake in the Shahi Snans, with an additional 40 lakh considering the Kalpwasis, further underscoring the colossal scale and significance of this forthcoming event. The state of Uttar Pradesh is resolutely committed to ensuring its divine success.
