Zoomlion Deepens Local Ties Through Community Outreach

Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. has reinforced its commitment to localisation with a meaningful community initiative that goes beyond business operations. Zoomlion Philippines recently organised a volunteer visit to the Rehoboth Sampaloc Orphanage in Tanay, Rizal, where employees delivered supplies and spent quality time with 27 children. The initiative highlights the company’s broader mission to grow with communities, support its workforce, and build enduring trust.
Led by General Manager Xu Jian, the team provided infant formula, diapers, food packs, toys, and other essentials carefully selected to meet the children’s needs. The team members shared moments of joy with the children, earning appreciation from the orphanage, which awarded a certificate recognising Zoomlion’s dedication to social responsibility and community welfare.
This effort goes beyond simple philanthropy, reflecting Zoomlion’s long-term approach to community engagement. Since its establishment in 2021, the subsidiary has expanded operations across the Philippines while simultaneously earning the trust of local communities through initiatives like this. It shows that localisation is about more than physical presence – it is about building relationships and shared value.
For William Joshua M. Cruz, a marketing specialist at Zoomlion Philippines, the visit was especially meaningful. Starting in an inventory support role, Cruz has advanced to a multifaceted position covering marketing, operations, and brand management. “My time at Zoomlion has been both exciting and rewarding,” he said. “I’ve had opportunities that pushed me to grow. More importantly, I’ve seen that our work truly makes a difference. We don’t just supply machines; we contribute to communities.”
Recalling the children’s joy on receiving toys, Cruz said, “Their smiles said everything. It was a powerful reminder that what we do matters. These initiatives show we are a part of the community, not apart from it.”
As Zoomlion continues to expand globally, it remains committed to creating value for the communities it serves. In the Philippines, this means nurturing relationships, supporting growth, and building a brand rooted in care and responsibility. Through actions like this, Zoomlion turns presence into genuine partnership.Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. has reinforced its commitment to localisation with a meaningful community initiative that goes beyond business operations.
