Grandweld Shipyards will spotlight its shipbuilding and repair expertise at the upcoming ‘Make It In The Emirates Forum 2025’, scheduled from May 19 to 22 at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi. The company, which marks over four decades of UAE operations, will present advanced capabilities in vessel design, construction, and conversion—emphasising sustainability and technological innovation.

This comes as the UAE’s shipbuilding output is projected to touch USD 423.01 million in 2025, with a CAGR of 3.47 per cent from 2025 to 2029. Meanwhile, the country’s Offshore and Commercial Ship Repair market is expected to reach USD 802.3 million by 2031. Grandweld aims to play a key role in this growth by aligning with the UAE’s “We the UAE 2031” vision and its goal to become a global maritime hub.

At the forum, Grandweld will showcase a portfolio of vessels spanning oil and gas, military, ports and harbours, autonomous ships, passenger transport, and crew boats.

Jamal Al Abki, General Manager, noted that the UAE’s evolving ports and infrastructure have driven demand for advanced shipbuilding. Grandweld’s shipyard is designed to meet these needs with a focus on innovation and eco-friendly practices.

Visitors to booth C3-23 concourse can explore models, immersive videos and displays that illustrate Grandweld’s contributions to regional and global maritime excellence.
