Kirby Building Systems & Structures India Pvt Ltd, a flagship company of Alghanim Industries, Kuwait, has inaugurated its new Centre of Engineering Excellence in Hyderabad. The 40,000 sq ft facility, with capacity for over 550 professionals, will function as the corporate office, housing sales, marketing, and engineering teams. 

The inauguration was attended by Mahmoud Samara, CEO, Alghanim Industries; Dirk Kahl, CFO; Jesper Berg, CHRO; D Raju, Head – Kirby International; and P V Mohan, CEO – Kirby India, along with senior leadership and engineering teams. 

During their visit, the Alghanim leadership team reviewed Kirby India’s growth strategy, market leadership, and competitive landscape, and toured the Hyderabad and Halol manufacturing facilities to observe Kaizen initiatives. 

The new centre will accommodate over 400 structural designers and detailers, using advanced software such as MBS, STAAD.Pro, Bocad, ETABS, Tekla, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, and Smartest. It is aligned with Kirby’s plans for expansion in India and other regions.
