SIIL Wins Rs 713 Million Contract For One Forest Avenue Works
The contract, awarded by BSS Property Ventures Private Limited and Rajeshwar Property Ventures Private Limited—promoted by the Sharma family with Brookfield Properties as the major stakeholder—is valued at Rs 713.1 million. The win further strengthens SIIL’s position as a specialist in complex civil engineering and construction within the Mumbai metropolitan region.
Located at a prime Powai site, the project involves extensive foundation works, including excavation of 450,000 cubic metres of soil and weathered and hard rock. It also includes installing 300 mm diameter shore piles to an average depth of 15 metres, along with required rock anchoring.
Managing Director Vikram Sharma said, “We are delighted to receive the LOI for the prestigious One Forest Avenue project with a globally recognised partner like Brookfield Properties. This Rs 713 million contract is a strong endorsement of our expertise in complex foundation and piling works. It marks a significant milestone in our strategy to pursue high-value projects aggressively.”
SIIL noted that the contract is pivotal to its financial and operational restructuring efforts. The sizeable order strengthens its order book and improves revenue visibility for the coming financial year, providing an immediate uplift to topline prospects. This package covers the initial excavation and shore piling phase of a larger development to follow.
Successfully delivering a foundational project of this scale for a high-calibre promoter group is expected to enhance SIIL’s credentials in the high-margin commercial real estate development segment, improve its market perception and support future bids for large, specialised contracts.
