Synergy Advanced Metals Limited (SAML), formerly Synergy Steels Ltd, has expanded its stainless-steel long-products portfolio with the launch of a new range of cold-drawn profiles, including hexagonal, square and flat bars.
The new product range is designed for manufacturers and engineering companies requiring tighter dimensional tolerances, application-specific grades and consistent quality for precision-driven applications.
The expansion comes amid growing domestic stainless-steel consumption. India consumed 1.282 million tonnes of stainless steel between April and June 2026, registering a 27.5% year-on-year growth, while imports increased 86.7% to 310,400 tonnes during the same period, according to Ministry of Steel data.
SAML’s cold-drawn profile range has been developed for applications where dimensional accuracy and surface quality are critical. The portfolio includes hexagonal bars in sizes ranging from 5–19 mm and square bars from 5–16 mm, available in h9 and h11 tolerances with lengths between 1–6 metres.
The flat bar range will be available in widths of 5–20 mm, thicknesses up to 10 mm and lengths of 1–6 metres. The products will be offered across multiple stainless-steel grades, including AISI 410 and 420 martensitic grades, AISI 430 ferritic, AISI 304 and 316 austenitic grades, along with AISI 201 and 204Cu utility grades.
The company will supply the profiles in cold-drawn and cold-drawn-and-polished variants, with customised specifications available based on minimum order quantities.
Cold-drawn stainless-steel profiles are used in precision-machined components, industrial fasteners, valves, fittings, flanges and engineering assemblies, where improved dimensional control supports machining efficiency, component consistency and performance.
The expansion strengthens SAML’s stainless-steel long-products portfolio, which includes stainless-steel billets, wire rods, bright bars, flats and industrial fasteners. Through its vertically integrated manufacturing operations, the company aims to enhance its capabilities in supplying specialised stainless-steel products for engineering and industrial applications.
