Vedanta keen on collaborating with automotive industry

Vedanta Aluminium said it is eager to work with the automobile sector across the value chain to reduce the sector's reliance on metal imports. The use of aluminium in automobiles, whether battery electric, hybrid, or internal combustion engine vehicles, has increased significantly as a result of growing consumer awareness of sustainability and tightening emission standards.

The company stated in a statement that it is eager to collaborate with the automotive industry, from major players to OEMs and MSMEs, in order to lessen the reliance of the sector on imports.

In a recent national webinar hosted by the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA) of India, it made a case for "green" aluminium.

According to the business, it has long been a partner of the car industry, creating product solutions that are precisely suited to their changing needs.
