AAI Expands Aviation Infrastructure in Andaman and Nicobar Islands

AAI is building new greenfield airports as well as modernizing existing ones in order to construct a strong and future-ready aviation infrastructure in the country.

In accordance with this, AAI inked an Operation and Management Agreement with the Government of Andaman and Nicobar in New Delhi.

The agreement for the operation of Shibpur Airport in Andaman and Nicobar Islands was signed by Sh. N.V. Subbarayudu, ED (JVC/PPP) on behalf of AAI and Dr. Jatinder Sohal, Director Civil Aviation on behalf of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Government.

Dr. H. Srinivas, Hon'ble Member (HR & Finance), and other senior officials from both organizations were present for the signing of this agreement.
