Adani Unit Acquires Full Stake in Indamer Technics in MRO Push

Adani Defence Systems and Technologies Limited (ADSTL), through its venture Horizon Aero Solutions Limited and in partnership with Prime Aero Services LLP, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 100 per cent stake in Indamer Technics Private Limited (ITPL). Horizon is a 50:50 joint venture between ADSTL and Prime Aero, owned by Prajay Patel, director of Indamer Technics.
In a regulatory filing, Adani Enterprises said the acquisition strengthens its presence in the aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sector.
Located in the MIHAN Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Nagpur, ITPL operates a state-of-the-art 30-acre greenfield facility with capacity for 15 aircraft bays across 10 hangars. Approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and other global regulators, ITPL provides a full range of MRO services including lease return checks, heavy C-checks, structural repairs, and aircraft painting for domestic and international clients.
Jeet Adani, Director of Adani Airports, said the deal was a step towards making India a leading global MRO hub and building an integrated aviation services ecosystem. Ashish Rajvanshi, CEO of Adani Defence & Aerospace, said that following the acquisition of Air Works, the addition of ITPL further consolidates Adani’s position as the largest private-sector MRO provider in the country.
Prajay Patel, Director of Indamer Technics and Prime Aero, described the collaboration as a blend of engineering expertise, strong infrastructure, and growth capital.
