National carrier Air India has entered into an interline partnership with Taiwan-based STARLUX Airlines to expand travel options and connectivity across Asia.
Under the agreement, STARLUX passengers will gain convenient access to key Indian cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru through shared gateway hubs in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, and Kuala Lumpur.
Conversely, Air India customers will be able to enjoy smoother travel connections to STARLUX destinations across East and Southeast Asia.
“The interline agreement aligns perfectly with Air India’s commitment to delivering premium experiences for our guests, while inviting STARLUX Airlines customers to explore India’s diverse cities in full-service comfort through our robust network,” said Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer, Air India.
The partnership allows for single-ticket itineraries that combine Air India and STARLUX flights, simplifying the travel process through coordinated baggage handling and seamless flight transfers.
The move marks another step in Air India’s ongoing global expansion strategy, as the airline continues to strengthen its international partnerships to offer travellers greater connectivity, comfort, and convenience.
