Bridgestone Aircraft Tire Europe has been awarded the Gold Medal in the 2025 sustainability assessment conducted by EcoVadis, placing the company among the top five per cent of over 130,000 organisations evaluated globally across 220 industry sectors.

The recognition marks a significant improvement from the Bronze rating received in 2023 and reflects steady progress in the company’s sustainability performance. In 2024, Bridgestone Aircraft Tire Europe had ranked within the top 15 per cent, before advancing further in the latest assessment.

The Gold rating coincides with key sustainability milestones, including completion of a full carbon footprint assessment covering Scopes 1, 2 and 3, an energy audit supported by a decarbonisation roadmap, and four consecutive years without a lost-time accident. The company has also undertaken multiple initiatives aligned with the Bridgestone E8 Commitment, spanning community engagement, sports partnerships and social welfare programmes.

EcoVadis evaluates organisations across four pillars — environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement — recognising companies that effectively integrate sustainability into their business and management systems.
