Copenhagen Airport Unveils Ambitious Expansion Plan

Copenhagen Airport is set to undergo its largest-ever expansion, with a €670m project aimed at transforming Terminal 3. The ambitious plan will add 60,000 sq m of space and a cutting-edge baggage handling system to improve passenger flow and alleviate bottlenecks. Initially launched in 2021 but paused due to the pandemic, the project is now back on track and scheduled for completion by 2027. With an annual passenger volume of approximately 22 million, the expansion will enable the airport to accommodate up to 50 million passengers and ensure its future readiness.
