Garuda Aerospace Deploys Drones for Andhra Pradesh Cyclone Relief

Chennai-based drone manufacturer Garuda Aerospace has deployed more than 100 drones to assist the Andhra Pradesh Drones Corporation in relief operations following Cyclone Montha. The company’s logistics and delivery drones are providing crucial support for aerial inspection, surveillance, and the transportation of medicines and essential supplies to areas severely affected by the cyclone.

The deployed drones are also being used for real-time aerial mapping, monitoring flood-affected regions, and identifying bottlenecks to facilitate faster emergency response. Equipped with advanced payload systems, these drones are delivering medical kits, emergency tools, and relief materials to remote and isolated areas where ground access is restricted due to flooding. Leveraging AI and machine learning, Garuda’s logistics drones enhance operational efficiency, while delivery drones are capable of carrying payloads of up to 25 kg. The operations are currently active in Amalapuram and surrounding regions.

Commenting on the initiative, Agnishwar Jayaprakash, Founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace, said, “Garuda Aerospace has always been at the forefront during emergencies. As a proud citizen of India, it is deeply fulfilling to see our drones making a tangible difference in times of crisis. Our rapid deployment in Andhra Pradesh is ensuring timely relief, enhancing situational awareness, and enabling swift delivery of aid to affected communities. We remain committed to serving as a first responder whenever the nation calls.”

Garuda Aerospace has a proven track record of supporting disaster response and emergency relief efforts through its cutting-edge drone technology. From disaster management and emergency logistics to large-scale humanitarian operations, the company continues to demonstrate how innovative drone solutions can drive faster, safer, and more efficient crisis response.
