GMR collaborates for sustainable aviation fuel production

In a significant development, GMR has entered into a collaboration with Safran and Airbus to produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in India. This partnership aims to contribute to the aviation industry's sustainability goals by locally manufacturing eco-friendly aviation fuel.

The agreement reflects a joint commitment to advancing environmentally conscious practices within the aviation sector. The production of SAF within India aligns with global efforts to reduce carbon emissions in the aviation industry and promote the use of alternative, sustainable fuels.

GMR's collaboration with Safran and Airbus is poised to play a pivotal role in fostering a more sustainable future for air travel. By producing SAF domestically, the initiative aims to enhance the availability and adoption of eco-friendly aviation fuels, contributing to the industry's broader environmental objectives.
