Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport will undergo runway recarpeting from March 1 to July 15, 2025, with closures from 10 AM to 6 PM daily. Airlines are revising schedules to accommodate flights before and after these hours. The airport, handling 120-132 daily flights, including 24 international ones, will see around 58 flights scheduled between 5 AM and 10 AM, while 60-70% will shift to nighttime slots. New schedules will be released after February 25. Airlines are coordinating with the airport to avoid cancellations, but rescheduling is delayed due to staff involvement in Bengaluru’s air show. Major airlines, including IndiGo, Air India, Vistara, and international carriers, are vying for prime slots between 6 AM-10 AM and 6 PM-11:30 PM. (Hindustan Times)
