Pravat Ranjan Beuria is the new director of Kolkata airport

In his capacity as the airport's new director, Pravat Ranjan Beuria assumed leadership. He has held the position of airport director at Leh, Bhubaneswar, Jammu, and Ranchi in the past. He was the general manager (engg-civil) of Gwalior Airport during his most recent post.
Beuria promised to move quickly to hasten the process of connecting the airport to the metro rail system and to improve passenger amenities. He succeeded C. Pattabhi, who had been sent to New Delhi to assume the position of Flight Inspection Unit executive director (CNS).
With over 400 flights per day, Kolkata Airport is the sixth busiest airport in India.
