Tata Projects, ASI Global Tie Up To Build Aircraft Hangars
The partnership enables both companies to identify and pursue opportunities linked to the growing demand for aircraft maintenance hangars and supporting infrastructure from commercial airlines, third-party MRO providers, business aviation operators and the defence sector.
According to a joint statement, the alliance positions Tata Projects and ASI Global as the only integrated solution providers in India for hangar and MRO infrastructure, stressed arch structures, sports centres and bulk storage facilities, addressing the country’s rising need for large-span steel structures.
Vinayak Pai, Managing Director and CEO of Tata Projects Ltd, said the collaboration represents a major step towards delivering world-class MRO facilities for India’s expanding aviation sector. By combining Tata Projects’ integrated EPC expertise with ASI Global’s engineering strengths, the partnership will offer clients a single-window solution for ready-to-operate MRO infrastructure, setting new benchmarks in design, quality, reliability and timely delivery.
Mark Langbein, Managing Director of ASI Global, said the two companies bring a compelling value proposition to the market, citing ASI’s extensive hangar design and construction experience alongside Tata Projects’ strong record in executing complex infrastructure projects and its in-house steel fabrication capabilities.
