Assam CM unveils infrastructure boost in Jorhat

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma visited the newly inaugurated Na-Ali Railway over Bridge in Jorhat, highlighting the development of roads, bridges, and highways worth Rs 14 billion in the district. Earlier on June 5, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari initiated four highway projects in Assam, investing Rs 14.50 billion to boost state infrastructure.

Union Minister Gadkari virtually inaugurated the 4-Lane highway section between Nagaon Bypass-Teliagaon and Teliagaon-Rangagara, while also laying the foundation for Mangaldai Bypass and the 4-lane section between Daboka-Parakhuwa. The 18 Km long 4-lane section between Nagaon Bypass-Teliagaon and Teliagaon-Rangagara, costing Rs 4.03 billion, improves connectivity between North Assam and Upper Assam, fostering economic growth and job opportunities.
