AVP Infracon Bags Rs 162 million ROB Contract in Tamil Nadu

AVP Infracon Limited has secured an Rs 162 million contract to build a new road‑over‑bridge (ROB) on Thaneerpandal Road in Tamil Nadu. The project will replace a level crossing between Singanallur and Peelamedu railway stations, aiming to reduce traffic congestion and improve commuter safety.

The ROB will be constructed at kilometre 0.6 of Thaneerpandal Road and is scheduled for completion within eighteen months. The structure will be designed in full compliance with approved engineering standards and constructed by the company’s in‑house workforce using its technical expertise.

With this contract, AVP Infracon enhances its presence in southern India’s critical infrastructure sector and reinforces its reputation for delivering state-level road and bridge projects.

According to Prasanna Dhandayuthapani, the company’s Managing Director, the project marks another milestone in AVP Infracon’s commitment to supporting regional connectivity initiatives. He emphasised the company’s dedication to high-quality engineering and timely execution. The ROB is expected to boost connectivity between Singanallur and Peelamedu, facilitating smoother commuter and vehicular movement.
