Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced the expansion of the existing two-lane Salepur–Narsanda–Telmar–Karauta road into a four-lane highway, enhancing connectivity between Patna and Rajgir. This upgraded route, part of the proposed Salepur–Rajgir Buddha Circuit, aims to reduce travel time and boost tourism to the historic town of Rajgir. An elevated road over a railway crossing is also planned to ensure uninterrupted traffic flow. The project is expected to significantly improve infrastructure and promote regional development.
