Ceigall India and Sushee Infra and Mining have won a contract from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for a road project valued at Rs 7.047 billion (Rs 7.047 bn). The companies received a Letter of Acceptance for the assignment and the contract value excludes Goods and Services Tax. Ceigall India holds a 74 per cent stake in the joint venture while Sushee Infra and Mining holds the remaining 26 per cent.

The project covers the Lada-Sarli section of National Highway 913, commonly referred to as the Frontier Highway, and will develop the carriageway from kilometre 85.60 to kilometre 168.00. The 82.4 kilometre stretch will be upgraded to an intermediate-lane road under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction model. Under the EPC arrangement the joint venture will be responsible for engineering, procuring materials and completing construction.

The joint venture has been granted 48 months to complete construction and will maintain the road for five years after completion. The company notified the exchanges of the award on 24 August 2026 and said the order was placed by a domestic government entity. The filing stated that promoters, promoter group and group companies have no interest in the authority that awarded the project and that the award does not constitute a related-party transaction.

The contract forms part of the Frontier Highway network in Arunachal Pradesh and is expected to improve transport links across remote and strategically important areas of the state. Better road infrastructure can support movement of people and goods, improve access to essential services and encourage economic activity in difficult terrain. The order reinforces Ceigall India's presence in the road and highway construction sector after earlier exchange communications in July 2026.
