Ceigall India JV Wins Rs 704.70 Crore Road Project In Arunachal Pradesh
The scope covers construction of the road from kilometre 85.60 to kilometre 168.00 of the Lada?Sarli section of National Highway 913, also described as the Frontier Highway, to intermediate lane standard. Work will be executed on an engineering, procurement and construction mode under an EPC contract. The alignment requires bridges, drainage and slope protection measures along several stretches. Execution will demand coordination with state authorities for clearances and logistics.
The award will bolster the joint venture order book and support the companies' presence in the north eastern infrastructure sector. Improved road connectivity will facilitate movement of people and goods and strengthen links between remote communities and district centres. The project aligns with national priorities to upgrade strategic road corridors in border states. The contract will generate local employment during construction and involve mobilisation of local resources and subcontractors.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways issued the letters of acceptance to the joint venture in August 2026, as reflected in company filings. The companies did not disclose further commercial or scheduling details in the public statement. Stakeholders will monitor subsequent tender documentation and agreement signing for definitive timelines and milestones. Investors and lenders will review tender documents and project agreements for financial details.
