The Centre has approved 17 road projects worth  Rs..6.11 billion for Arunachal Pradesh under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund for 2026-27. The package covers construction and improvement of major district roads, village links and national highway connectors across East Kameng, Pakke Kessang, Papum Pare, Lower Siang, East Siang, Changlang, Longding, Tirap, Lower Dibang Valley, Kamle and West Kameng. The projects aim to improve access to remote settlements, border areas, markets and district centres across the state.
