The Delhi government has launched a Rs 600 crore project to construct 60.77 km of two-lane roads along both banks of the Najafgarh Drain (Sahibi River), aiming to enhance connectivity and transform the area into a green corridor. The development includes a 5.94 km stretch from Jhatikra Bridge to Chhawla Bridge and a 54.83 km segment from Chhawla Bridge to Basaidarapur Bridge. This initiative will link key arterial roads such as the Inner and Outer Ring Roads, Pankha Road, Dwarka Expressway, and Najafgarh Road, improving access for areas like Punjabi Bagh, Paschim Vihar, Nilothi, Baprola, and Dwarka.
