Gadkari: Urban Ext Road 2 opening during Prague visit

Union Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari revealed exciting news about the upcoming Urban Extension Road 2 (UER-2) during an interaction with the Indian Diaspora at the 27th World Road Congress in Prague. He disclosed that UER-2, a substantial ring road project in Delhi, is on the brink of being unveiled to the public, with an anticipated inauguration within the next 2-3 months.

Gadkari emphasized the transformative impact of this infrastructure development, stating, "Normally, if you (people) come to Delhi and then go to the airport, it will take 2 hours. But after this road opens, you can reach the airport in 20 minutes." This announcement heralds a potential revolution in travel times within the city, significantly reducing the commute for residents and visitors traveling to the airport and various parts of the bustling metropolis.

Urban Extension Road 2 (UER-2) is poised to address traffic congestion and improve connectivity in the Indian capital, offering a promising solution to the perennial challenge of traffic congestion in Delhi.
