Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has issued a stern warning to the Punjab government, indicating that the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) may cancel eight major highway projects in the state if the law and order situation does not improve. This warning comes amidst growing concerns about the safety and security of workers and contractors involved in these critical infrastructure projects.
