GR Infraprojects Bags Rs 2,902.3 Million Giridih Bypass EPC Contract

GR Infraprojects announced that it has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the State Highways Authority of Jharkhand for the construction of the Giridih Bypass (towards Tundi). The 26.672 km project has been awarded on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis, with a contract value of Rs 2,902.3 million and a completion timeline of 24 months from the appointed date.

In its first-quarter results for the fiscal year ending 30 June 2025, GR Infraprojects reported a 57% year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs 2,440 million, compared with Rs 1,550 million in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations declined slightly by 2.1% to Rs 19,880 million from Rs 20,300 million previously.

At the operating level, EBITDA rose 8.1 per cent to Rs 3,980 million, with the EBITDA margin improving to 20 per cent from 18.1 per cent in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

Shares of GR Infraprojects closed at Rs 1,246.00 on the BSE, up 9.80 or 0.79 per cent on the day.
