Gujarat CM Flags off 201 New ST Buses from Gandhinagar
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel recently flagged off 201 new buses of the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) from the Gandhinagar depot, strengthening the state’s public transport network.
The new fleet includes express, sleeper, and luxury buses designed to enhance passenger comfort and accessibility across both rural and urban routes. The initiative forms part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to modernise its transport infrastructure and improve last-mile connectivity.
The addition brings the total number of GSRTC’s operational buses to over 7,800, reinforcing Gujarat’s position as one of India’s best-performing state transport networks.
