MP Shankar Lalwani recently met National Highways and Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in Delhi. During their meeting, Lalwani urged Gadkari to expedite the progress of several ongoing projects in and around Indore. He emphasized the importance of additional road construction at Ganesh Ghat on the Indore-Khandwa and Ichhapur, Indore-Harda Betul via Nagpur, Indore-Ujjain-Jhalawar, and Indore-Mumbai routes, as well as the logistics park in Betma.

Additionally, they extensively discussed the construction of a three-layer overbridge near the Outer Ring Road and Best Price. Lalwani mentioned that Minister Gadkari has directed officials to ensure swift completion of these projects in Indore. Furthermore, tenders have been issued for the western section of the outer ring road, while decisions regarding the eastern section will be made jointly by the central and state governments.

Minister of State for Road and Highway Transport, Harsh Malhotra, is expected to visit Indore soon to review these projects.

In a separate development, Agrawal Samaj in Indore has committed to participating in a massive plantation drive aiming to plant 51 lakh saplings. The initiative was discussed in a meeting chaired by Kailash Vijayvargiya, where prominent members like Prem Goyal, Kamlesh Khandelwal, and Raju Agrawal pledged their full support to the Indore Municipal Corporation's initiative. They expressed their dedication to contributing wholeheartedly to this environmental effort.
